James picks Rose for MVP

This isn't LeBron James' first MVP vote, which first went to once-streaking Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire. With a few weeks left before the playoffs, things have changed. James said Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose is his choice. Rose is generally regarded as the top candidate, with the Bulls on pace to earn the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Rose has kept the Bulls afloat despite injuries to Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah. "I think Derrick Rose," James said. "What he's done for that team, with all the injuries they have and them being first in the Eastern Conference. They're playing some really good basketball." James said he was leaning toward Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki until he was injured. Now, he's in full support of Rose. ... James maintained his stance of the Heat not having a serious candidate because he and Wade have canceled each other out. (Sun-Sentinel) Comment

Palmer's house on market in Cincy

Your move, Mike Brown? If you've got $2.1 million and are in the market for a five-bedroom, two-story property in Indian Hill, then Carson Palmer's house is just for you. The Palmer house has finally hit the market after the process of getting it ready for sale started early last month. Located at 8885 Whisperinghill Drive, the house, which is made of stone and brick, sits on five acres and also features a gourmet kitchen, 5 1/2 bathrooms, solarium, swimming pool, spa, golf green and pond. The real estate listing calls Palmer's house "an exceptional home that exudes comfort, character and privacy." Since word of Palmer's house going on the market first surfaced, Marvin Lewis has said that the team is moving on without Palmer, taking him at his word that if he is not traded then he will retire after eight seasons.
