SEVILLE, Spain (AP) -- Sevilla could be without World Cup winner Jesus Navas for the remainder of the Spanish league season because of a stress fracture in his left foot.

The Spain winger will miss four to six weeks because of the injury. The last round of league games are scheduled for the weekend of May 21-22.

The 25-year-old Navas has struggled to stay healthy this season with various injuries limiting him to only 15 games.

Fifth-place Sevilla is one point ahead of Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid and two clear of Espanyol with seven games to play. The team is eight points behind fourth-place Villarreal and the final Champions League spot.

Navas is expected to miss matches against Real Madrid, Villarreal and Espanyol.
