Neymar to stay with Santos until 2014 World Cup
SAO PAULO (AP) -- Santos president Luiz Alvaro Ribeiro says Neymar has agreed to a new contract that will tie the Brazil striker to the club until the South American country hosts the 2014 World Cup.
Luiz Alvaro Ribeiro says he reached the deal, which involves an undisclosed pay rise, with the player on Wednesday.
Neymar had previously said he would stay in Brazil at least until next year after widespread rumors of negotiations with clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona.
