Young rallies past Monfils to reach Thailand final |


BANGKOK (AP) - American Donald Young advanced to his first ATP Tour title, rallying to beat second-seeded Gael Monfils 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5) on Saturday in the Thailand Open.
The 55th-ranked Young trailed 4-1 in the final set before rallying to draw even at 4-4. He won the match on the Frenchman's eighth double fault.
Young will face top-seeded Andy Murray or Gilles Simon in the final.
