SI.com has obtained a summary of the tentative agreement that NBA and union officials agreed upon early Saturday and is being circulated around the league. The framework must still be ratified by all NBA owners and players (who must first re-form their union) before the deal is official.

The summary outlines the main pieces of the new agreement, not including the "B-list" issues that commissioner David Stern said the sides have yet to resolve. Players and owners hope this new collective bargaining agreement will be finalized in time to open training camps and free agency on Dec. 9, and the 2011-12 regular season on Dec. 25.
