NEW YORK (AP) -- Injured New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is set to play in the minor leagues Friday night.
The 37-year-old star has been out for more than a month because of a broken left hand. He is scheduled to play for Class A Tampa at Lakeland in the Florida State League.
Rodriguez is hitting .276 with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs for the Yankees.
