INDIAN WELLS, Calif. (AP) - Gary Tuck will return as bullpen coach of the Boston Red Sox next season under new manager John Farrell.

Tuck has been with the team since the 2007 season.

Red Sox general manager Ben Cherington also said Thursday that Dr. Laurence J. Ronan became the team's medical director and Dr. Dan Dyrek coordinator of the club's sports medicine service.

Ronan, a staff physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, has been the head team internist since 2005. Dyrek became a clinical consultant to the club this year.
