Preseason: Brewer, Nuggets beat Spurs
Tied at 45 after the first half, the Nuggets went on a 10-0 run in the opening minutes of the third quarter to capture a 57-47 lead. McGee had a pair of one-handed dunks and blocked a layup attempt by Boris Diaw in the run.
The Spurs emptied their bench with 4 minutes left in the third quarter.
Reserve Perry Jones had 14 points for Oklahoma City, which was without key players because of injury and did not play point guard Russell Westbrook.
Thunder forward Kevin Durant played 19 minutes and finished with nine points, three assists, two rebounds and a blocked shot.
The game was a chance for both teams to look at young players. Fifteen Jazz players had played by halftime.
The Jazz got off to a fast start behind two of their new additions, with Mo Williams scoring 10 first-quarter points and Marvin Williams adding eight as Utah took command early.
Al-Farouq Aminu led the Hornets (3-1) with 15 points and Robin Lopez added 11 points and eight rebounds. Greivis Vasquez and Darius Miller each had 10 points and Austin Rivers added seven points. First overall pick Anthony Davis did not dress.
Jeremy Lin put the Rockets up 15 at 64-49 with two free throws with 4:32 left in the third after being fouled hard by Lopez on a drive to the basket. The foul was initially ruled a flagrant but turned to a regular foul after the officials reviewed the play.

Raptors rookie Jonas Valanciunas had 11 points and eight rebounds, and scored on a key possession with less than a minute to play, in his second NBA game.
Valanciunas, whom the Raptors selected with their No. 5 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, is considered a huge piece of the franchise's future. He put in an energetic 30 minutes, banging with Detroit's big men under the glass. On one play late in the first quarter, the rookie did a nice job of driving to the hoop and drawing a foul for a three-point play.
Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 14 points.
The Pacers (1-1) shot 27.3 percent from the field in the second quarter and fell behind 53-42 at the half. A 13-2 run in the third cut the gap.
