Atlanta's WNBA season anything but a Dream

ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta Dream hardly look primed to win a third straight Eastern Conference title.

Star guard Angel McCoughtry, the WNBA's leading scorer, remained on indefinite suspension Wednesday after meeting face-to-face with new coach and general manager Fred Williams in his office.

Williams said he gave McCoughtry a written list of requirements she must sign and comply with before he will consider reinstating her. Williams suspended McCoughtry for breaking unspecified team rules before Tuesday's home loss to Tulsa.

Williams took charge when Marynell Meadors was fired on Monday.

Meadors led the Dream to the last two WNBA finals, but her relationship with McCoughtry deteriorated last week after both helped the U.S. women win a gold medal at the London Olympics.

McCoughtry has played in just one of Atlanta's last four games.
