ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Whatever happens this season, the Magic are doing their best not to refer to it as a rebuilding year.

Despite undergoing easily the most massive offseason shake-up in franchise history the included the trade of all-star Dwight Howard, there is still a lot of optimism among the players, coaching staff and front office entering training camp Tuesday.

New coach Jacques Vaughn says he doesn't plan to utter the word `rebuilding' at all to his team. He also plans to offer a roster of 10 new players and seven returners a chance to have a clean slate. Only four have spent more than one season in Orlando.

Veterans like Jameer Nelson and J.J. Redick acknowledge this season offers challenges, but say they are preparing for this season like any other.
