WASHINGTON (AP) -- Georgetown assistant men's basketball coach Kenya Hunter has been released from the hospital after becoming ill following a practice.
Head coach John Thompson III said Thursday in a statement that Hunter passed out after Tuesday's practice and was undergoing tests.
Hunter was admitted to Georgetown University Hospital and missed the trip to Syracuse for Wednesday night's overtime loss to the Orange.
He was released Thursday afternoon.
Hunter is in his fifth season as an assistant with the No. 12 Hoyas.
