Utah St basketball player in critical condition

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The brother of a Utah State basketball player who collapsed at practice says things are looking good for the player.

John Berger, the brother of Utah State forward Danny Berger, said Wednesday afternoon that Danny is waking up and responding the way doctors want him to.

Danny Berger remains in critical condition at a Salt Lake City-area hospital.

School officials say the 22-year-old player collapsed on the court during a practice Tuesday in Logan.
