JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Blaise Ffrench hit a jumper with 4 seconds left to help Saint Peter's beat Iona 64-62 Wednesday night in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action.

Darius Conley gave the Peacocks (4-4, 1-0) 62-60 lead on a three-point play with 48 seconds left, only to have Lamont Jones tie it for the Gaels (3-3, 1-1) with a jumper 8 seconds later.

Saint Peter's held the ball for the final shot, which ended up being Ffrench's game-winning jumper.

Ffrench finished with 17 points and eight assists, while Conley had 17 points with nine rebounds, and Desi Washington had 15 points.

The Peacocks trailed 31-21 at halftime and didn't take their first lead in the second half until Chris Burke's three-point play put them up 54-53 with 5:23 to play. Sean Armand followed that basket with a 3 for Iona, and the Gaels led until Conley's three-point play.

Armand paced Iona with 19 points.
