HERNING, Denmark (AP) - Denmark's Mikkel Kessler won his fifth career world championship Saturday, stopping Brian Magee in the third round to take Northern Ireland figther's World Boxing Association super-middleweight title.

Kessler floored Magee in the second and third rounds.

Kessler returned to the ring last year after overcoming an eye injury that forced the Dane to withdraw from the Super Six tournament in 2010. The eye injury stemmed from a Super Six bout against American fighter Andre Ward in 2009.
