LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) - Tour de France winner Cadel Evans and road race world champion Mark Cavendish head the entry list for the Tour de Romandie next month.

Race organizers say Cavendish's Britain and Sky teammate, Bradley Wiggins, winner of this month's Paris-Nice race, is also scheduled to compete in the April 24-29 event.

Evans won in Romandie for BMC Racing last year, a stepping stone to capturing his first Tour victory in July.

Cavendish won the Romandie prologue in 2008 and will be favored for the 2-mile opening stage, which finishes in front of the Olympic Museum.

The six-day race ends with a time trial covering 10 miles of terrain around the ski resort of Crans-Montana.
