But the highlight of the NFL playoff weekend was the thrilling finish to the Saints-Niners game that saw San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith hit tight end Vernon Davis with a touchdown pass (which brought Davis to tears) with nine seconds remaining to give San Francisco a 36-32 win.
