The NBA trade deadline is tomorrow and the soap opera in Orlando is getting spicier by the minute. Dwight Howard was reportedly told that he could decide the fates of coach Stan Van Gundy and GM Otis Smith if he signed an extension. This didn't faze Van Gundy who said "If they want to fire me to please somebody, fire me. I really don't give a damn." The Nets appear to be in the lead for Howard's services, so much so that the NBA store has already starting selling a Dwight Howard Nets T-shirt. They aren't alone: ESPN mistakenly called Tuesday night's Magic-Heat game "Howard's home finale."

The NCAA Tournament got off to a great start yesterday as Western Kentucky and BYU pulled off ridiculous comebacks to advance to the first second round. President Obama attended the Western Kentucky-Mississippi Valley State game with British Prime Minister David Cameron, and received a staredown from Delta Devils guard Kevin Burnwell after he converted a three pointer. Speaking of Obama, here are his brackets for the tournament.

Brandon Marshall was traded to Chicago, then quickly found himself in trouble with the law. Receiver Brandon Stokely nearly screwed up Peyton Manning's Denver workout, when the field they planned to use was being occupied by a lacrosse team. Luckily, Stokely's wife stepped in and saved the day. Vincent Jackson signed a five-year, $55.55 million deal with Tampa Bay, despite the pleading of his favorite band, SOJA, who begged him to join the Redskins during a concert attended by Jackson last weekend.
