Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson
caused a small stir over the weekend when he pranked his former Rangers teammate, catcher Mike Napoli
, by tweeting out Napoli's phone number. Wilson initially caused some confusion with the tweet because he told Napoli to call him and gave out the digits. However, the number wasn't Wilson's. It was Napoli's. Wilson said the prank
was in retaliation for Napoli saying he couldn't wait to homer off the lefty. (Wilson told me that as of late Sunday night, he still hasn't heard from Napoli. Napoli probably had his phone off. Or he's plotting revenge. Or both.) As for Wilson's take on the prank, he told me, "I've been wanting to get someone with that prank for a while, and since Mike has a great sense of humor and always tries to 'get' guys with jokes, I figured everyone would enjoy it."
