After venting about the way Major League Baseball ruined Opening Day in today's A.M. Hot Clicks, it's time to move on and focus on the season. That means recreationally betting some over/unders on total regular season wins. Bovada.lv has the totals for each team. Here are the ones I've taken a flyer on: Rays over 87.5 (great starting pitching); Angels over 91.5 (adding Albert Pujols and C.J. Wilson gets them close to 100 wins); Braves over 86.5 (hopefully last season's collapse doesn't carryover); Red Sox under 90.5 (injuries, age, going from Terry Francona to Bobby Valentine add up for a down season in Beantown); Phillies under 93.5 (just a hunch here with the injuries to Ryan Howard and Chase Utley); Royals under 78.5 (they seem to be everyone's under-the-radar team to surprise, but their rotation is atrocious). Bizarre Injury Of The Day, No. 2
Earlier today, I told you about Rockies pitcher Josh Outman, who strained an oblique muscle while vomiting. For this Hot Clicks, I have a story about golfer Dustin Johnson, who had to pull out of the Masters after aggravating a back injury while lifting a jet ski. Sports Video Of The Day
Video of golfer Martin Kaymer sinking a hole in one with a ball that skipped across the water at the 16th hole at Augusta National was around earlier in the week, but the quality wasn't great and you couldn't actually see the ball skip across the water. However, late today, a Twitter follower sent me this high quality video.
Commercial Of The Day
Via Buzzfeed.com comes this commercial that tries to sell you a car by having women in bikinis eat donuts and pour milk on themselves. Even I'm offended by this one.
