Showtime's The Franchise: A Season with the Miami Marlins doesn't start until July 11, but the network will air a special preview episode this Saturday at 9 p.m. ET. The preview trailer was released today.

After reading the interview in which Shumpert gave that quote, I can tell you that amusing comment was nothing compared to his very detailed breakdown of "swag" vs. "sway."

Remember Jeremy Lin? Well, Linsanity died a quick death, and the Knicks guard is now on the shelf with a knee injury. But this young lady from William & Mary still wants him to take her to her senior formal. Most of these videos in which a civilian asks a celebrity to escort them somewhere are ho-hum, but this one gets an A for creativity. Lin should at least give this girl a phone call.
