I've said before that I'm not big on featuring someone because it's their birthday, but sometimes the individual is so big, so special, so dynamic that you have to pay homage. The most electrifying man in sports entertainment, The Rock, turned 40 years old today. Roger Goodell handed out suspensions earlier today for Saints players involved in Bountygate. Linebacker Jonathan Vilma got the harshest penalty, a one-year suspension without pay for the entire 2012 season. Players throughout the league, including many Saints, took to Twitter to react, and Deadspin has an outstanding round-up.

OK, here's the deal. I'm not going to have a full week of Natalia Velez for one reason. Not because she doesn't deserve it, but because we've done that, and you can never recreate magic. The first time for anything is always special, so we're not going to repeat what happened with Jaime Edmondson. However, I'll give you the hat trick of Natalia today, and will be sure to feature her on a regular basis.
