Sports Illustrated recently asked 124 NBA players to choose their favorite announcer. Charles Barkley topped the list. Jeff Van Gundy came in second, followed by Steve Kerr, Reggie Miller and Mike Breen. Here is the full top 15. I'm interested to see how fans and players differ, so I set up the poll below. Personally, I think it's odd mix to include play-by-play announcers with game analysts and studio people, but that's how SI did it, so that's how Hot Clicks is doing it. And I'm only giving you the top 10 for space purposes.

White Sox pitcher Jose Quintana threw behind Rays infielder Ben Zobrist during this afternoon's game. Quintana was then ejected by home plate umpire Mark Wegner. This caused Chicago announcer Ken "Hawk" Harrelson to go ballistic. Like, over-the-top, off-the-charts ballistic.
Don't Forget The "D"
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 4,643 yards with 45 touchdowns and six interceptions last season. The year before, he led his team to a Super Bowl. However, this isn't enough for the NFL's own online store to spell his name correctly on jerseys they are trying to sell.

Porn + Sports = Trouble
If you're on Twitter (cheap plug for my Twitter account), your biggest fear is sending a Direct Message as a regular tweet to all your followers. This recently happened to Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, a guard for the University of Central Florida, who was reaching out to a porn star. Speaking of porn (there's a transition I never thought I'd get away with making in Hot Clicks), it's been discovered that an adult movie was filmed 10 years ago at the famed L.A. Coliseum, home to USC Trojans (no jokes, please).
Political Tirade Video Of The Day
