When it comes to Hot Clicks, the dog days of summer are here. We have no sports until baseball returns Friday. (The "game" being played tomorrow night is an exhibition game that doesn't count, so save the e-mails you're about to send me.) This means I'm going to rely heavily on YOU to help me find content this week. I'd like to have one edition on either Wednesday or Thursday that's an all-reader e-mail edition. So if you've ever had a question or thought about Hot Clicks, this is your chance. E-mail away. And if there's anything you've ever wanted to see in Hot Clicks, now is your chance to speak up or forever hold your peace. One more thing: I wouldn't watch the Olympics if you paid me to. Personally, I'd like to keep Hot Clicks an Olympics-free zone while they're going on. However, I try my best to cater to your needs, so if you want me to run items about the Games, there is a chance I could change my mind. Let me know how you feel below.
A Day In The Life Of An NFL Player
Jaguars defensive end Austen Lane just became one of my favorite NFL players. He posted his Monday schedule on Twitter earlier today and it was classic.
He Deserved It
A fan in San Diego was shaken up over the weekend when he was hit with a foul ball. He admitted afterward that he didn't see the ball coming because he was busy updating his Facebook page. (Thanks to Matt, of Philadelphia, for the link.)
