But, in general, I can take some of your opinions about MLB and how it is run with a grain of salt. But I am surprised -- and in this case -- saddened to see your silence on MLB's decision to put the playoffs on the MLB Network (and not basic cable). Perhaps you may have addressed this before in prior columns (and I missed it), but I believe that it should be ranted about again! It's tough enough on most days to root for my beloved A's and their ever-evolving cast of characters, but MLB's decision to carry Saturday's A's-Tigers (and tomorrow's Cards-Nats game) on MLBN is shameful. Thanks for listening and keep up the strong work."

First off, Andrew didn't call me nasty names and say that Hot Clicks sucks, so he had no chance to end up in the "Look-At-The-Idiotic-Emails-That-I-Have-to-Read-On-A-Daily-Basis" section. As for the MLB Network issue, to be honest, I had assumed the games on MLB Network were also being simulcast on a local channel in the home markets of the two team's in action, the way the NFL does it when a Thursday game is on NFL Network. I was wrong. It's MLB Network or nothing in these playoffs, which is brutal. Obviously, this is just another clueless decision by Major League Baseball, which doesn't exactly have a "fan friendly" attitude. The folks in Oakland and Washington are not happy, and rightfully so.
