Rivals100 defensive end Arik Armstead from Elk Grove (Calif.) Pleasant Grove is set for his fifth and final official visit to Auburn this weekend. He is expected to be joined on campus by five-star WR Stefon Diggs, who was recently added to the list of official visitors. The Tigers also got some good recruiting news on Thursday when long-time LSU offensive tackle commit Patrick Miller announced he will enroll at Auburn.
The Gators will welcome a small group of three official visitors beginning Friday. However, the weekend will merge into early next week as a fourth prospect -- one four-star offensive lineman -- begins his visit on Sunday after a trip to Indiana.
The Seminoles are set to host a big group of current commits along with several big-name targets, including five-star Tampa (Fla.) Berkley Prep WR Nelson Agholor, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland DE Leonard Williams and former Notre Dame commit Ronald Darby out of Maryland.
The Gopher have nearly finished up the class of 2012, but they are still looking to fill a few final critical spots in the class. This weekend could go a long way toward completing that class with some big time talent, including Minnetonka (Minn.) Hopkins receiver Andre McDonald.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are set for back-to-back big weekends where they will host the majority of their current commits along with some top remaining targets. Florence (Ala.) High ATH Beniquez Brown and Oxford (Miss.) Lafayette QB Jeremy Liggins are expected to be among the group on campus this weekend.
Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek athlete Mike Hilton is committed to Ole Miss, but he's still planning to take a couple of official visits this month just to make sure he knows exactly where he wants to sign. He'll be in Chapel Hill this weekend.
The Ohio State visit list for this weekend includes four-stars Davonte Neal, Joey O'Connor and David Perkins. The Buckeyes are also expecting a visit in the middle of next week from Penn State commit Armani Reeves.

The first of two big January recruiting weekends begins on Friday as the Beavers are set to host several top targets on official visits, including Rivals250 wide receiver Kenny Lawler from Upland, Calif.
Plymouth (Pa.) Wyoming Valley wide receiver Eugene Lewis is excited about the direction of the Penn State program under new head coach Bill O'Brien and the PSU commit will be on campus along with several other players currently committed to the NIttany Lions.
Paul Chryst will host eight recruits on his first official visit weekend as Pitt's new head football coach. Five are solid Pitt commits who will have their first chance to spend extended time with Chryst and his staff, but the services of three prospects are still up for grabs.
The list of prospects expected on campus at Tennessee this weekend includes Long Beach (Miss.) High four-star LBRichie Brown, former LSU commit Davante Bourque of Crowley, La., and four-star Lynchburgh (Va.) Brookville DT Korren Kirven.
