Michigan to wear commemorative jerseys vs. Alabama |

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan's football team will wear commemorative jerseys in its season opener against Alabama.
The school announced its plans Monday for the Sept. 1 game in Arlington, Texas.
The Wolverines will wear a white road jersey with maize across the shoulders and down to the sleeve. Blue piping will separate the maize from the white on the jersey. A blue block `M' will appear on the left and right sleeve of the jersey, and the player numbers are blue.
Michigan will wear its traditional maize pants with the blue block `M' on the left hip.
