Kansas suspends longsnapper |


LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) Kansas has suspended starting longsnapper Justin Carnes for the first three games of the season because of a violation of team rules.
No details of the violation were mentioned in a statement released Saturday by Jayhawks coach Charlie Weiss.
Carnes was the Kansas snapper for extra points and field goals in 10 of 12 games last season.
