ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) -- The Oakland Raiders have placed receiver Jacoby Ford on season-ending injured reserve and cornerback Ron Bartell on the reserved/injured list.

The Raiders made the moves Saturday, a day before playing their second game of the season against Miami.

Ford has been sidelined since the preseason with a Lisfranc injury to his left foot. He had surgery earlier this week. Bartell broke his shoulder blade in a season-opening loss to San Diego. Under a new NFL rule, Bartell is allowed to return to practice Oct. 27 and could play as early as Nov. 11 at Baltimore.

The Raiders also promoted cornerback Coye Francies and long-snapper Nick Guess from the practice squad. Guess could make his debut Sunday if Jon Condo is not cleared to play following a concussion.
