AP Pro32 comments about Patriots |

NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the New England Patriots by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
---
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (6)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 6) - 52 points a reminder they could not lose three straight.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 3) - People can stop asking what's wrong with them. Running game gives them more offensive balance.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 6) - Comment currently unavailable
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 7) - Second half surge against Buffalo was huge. Still giving up too many big plays on defense.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 8) - Shades of 2007, as the Patriots pour it on in the second half of a 52-28 win over Buffalo. Did they run up the score? Better yet, do they care if anyone thinks that's the case?
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 11) - The NFL's best offense. With Tom Brady taking the snaps, that should never be a surprise.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 10) - The Patriots have defensive issues, particularly in the secondary, but they won't be enough to keep them from another division title.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 6) - A prolific afternoon at Buffalo has lifted the Brady Bunch into the No. l spot in total offense.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 6) - Any team that can score 45 points in the second half on the road is dangerous. Tom Brady is operating a balanced attack right now dropping 247 yards rushing on top of 340 yards passing last week.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 6) - The Pats were down early at Buffalo, and then exploded with 52 points. Their secondary - which has been leaky - will be tested by Peyton Manning and the Broncos this week.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 10) - The rollercoaster Patriots are on the way up again overcoming a 21-7 deficit with 35 consecutive points Sunday against Buffalo.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 8) - Even when they don't have all hands on deck, this team still can flex its offensive muscle with anyone.
