INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indianapolis Colts have signed linebacker Mario Addison to the practice squad.

The move comes one day after Addison was released from Indy's active roster to make room for center A.Q. Shipley, who was promoted from Indy's practice squad.

Addison had appeared in nine NFL games and has five career tackles. He was originally claimed by the Colts off waivers on Nov. 23.
