AP Pro32 comments about Colts
NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Indianapolis Colts by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (15)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 15) - Over their heads at New England.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 15) - Andrew Luck had a hiccup vs. Patriots, but Colts are still in hunt.
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 18) - Step up in weight class last week. I guess New England was too much for Luck and Colts.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 15) - Mr. Luck, say hello to Mr. Brady. Carry on.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 15) - The Colts claimed Andrew Luck with the first overall pick of the 2012 draft and are certainly getting their money's worth. Twice he's thrown 50 passes in a game and he has a 400-yard and four 300s games.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 14) - So the Colts lost to Tom Brady. Big deal. It happens. All they need to do is get three more wins, and the schedule should help them.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 14) - Andrew Luck just saw how it's done by the master, Tom Brady.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 13) - It's too much to ask rookie QB Andrew Luck to throw 50 times a game. He needs better support from the running game and defense if they want to stay in the playoff hunt.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 16) - The Pats showed the Colts that while they are having an incredible season, they aren't quite there yet.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 16) - Coming off a devastating loss to New England, how the Colts respond Sunday against Buffalo will say a lot about whether this is a bona fide playoff contender.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 16) - Leave it to Bill Belichick to be the one who made Andrew Luck look like a rookie.
