Texans still atop AP Pro32 rankings; 49ers to 2nd |

NEW YORK (AP) - The Houston Texans remain first in the AP Pro32 NFL power rankings, with the San Francisco 49ers moving up to second after their convincing win over the Chicago Bears.
The Texans (9-1) received nine first-place votes and 346 points Tuesday from 11 of the 12 media members on The Associated Press panel casting ballots. The 49ers have one first-place vote and 326 points, and the New England Patriots have other first-place vote and are seventh.
Despite needing overtime to beat the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars 43-37 on Sunday, Houston was the strong choice to stay at the top. Atlanta drops to third, with Chicago tumbling five sports to eighth after their 32-7 loss to the 49ers on Monday night.
Kansas City is 32nd and last.
