VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- Vancouver star Daniel Sedin will miss the Canucks' playoff opener Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Kings because of a concussion.
Sedin has been out since taking an elbow to the head from Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith last month.
Sedin didn't take part in the morning skate and, unlike Tuesday, didn't practice with the Canucks' extra players. The Swede had 30 goals and 37 assists in 72 regular-season games.
