Emily Allstar wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) - Emily Allstar rallied to capture the $74,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on Friday at Belmont Park.

Surging down the center of the track, Emily Allstar swept past Promise Me a Cat by three quarters of a length to earn her ninth win in 39 starts. The 7-year-old trained by David Jacobson ran the 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.79.

Emily Allstar paid $5.60, $2.90 and $2.10. Promise Me a Cat returned $3.10 and $2.40 while Heir To Dare paid $2.10 to show as the 3-2 favorite.
