Lady of Fifty wins Santa Anita feature

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Lady of Fifty won the $65,000 Palm Springs Handicap by a half-length over 4-5 favorite Awesomemundo at Santa Anita on Thursday.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Lady of Fifty ran one mile in 1:36.22 and paid $26.40, $6.60 and $3.20 at 12-1 odds in the field of five.

Awesomemundo returned $2.60 and $2.10. May Day Rose was another 2 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $2.40 to show. Both horses are trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert.

The victory, worth $39,750, increased Lady of Fifty's career earnings to $210,000, with five wins in 10 starts.
