Morrow Cove wins Big A's Raging Fever Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) - Morrow Cove and jockey Junior Alvarado rallied from last to beat Wildcat's Smile by 11/4 lengths in the $75,000 Raging Fever Stakes for 3-year-old fillies, the opening-day feature on Friday at Aqueduct.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, Morrow Cove improved to 4 for 8. She ran the seven furlongs in 1:24.21.

Morrow Cove paid $8.50, $4.30 and $3.40. Wildcat's Smile returned $4.20 and $3.60 while Ode to Sami paid $4 to show.
