NEW YORK (AP) - Violence survived a steward's inquiry to win the $200,000 Nashua at Aqueduct on Sunday, giving trainer Todd Pletcher another unbeaten 2-year-old stakes winner.

Shanghai Bobby improved to 5 for 5 on Saturday for Pletcher in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita.

One day later, Violence went to 2 for 2 on the opposite coast. Javier Castellano was aboard as the colt beat Vegas No Show by two lengths. The result was ultimately confirmed by the stewards after a video review of the stretch run after Violence appeared to make contact with several rivals.

The time was 1:35.32 for the one mile.

Violence paid $7.80, $4.50 and $5.40. Vegas No Show returned $9 and $10.40 while Really Sharp paid $6.70 to show.

Darwin, the 3-5 favorite, was fourth.
