Candrea wins feature at Betfair Hollywood Park

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Candrea ended a seven-race skid with a neck victory in the $52,350 feature at Betfair Hollywood Park on Thursday.

Ridden by Martin Garcia, Candrea ran 6 1/2 furlongs on Cushion Track in 1:17.69 and paid $23.60, $7.20 and $4.40 at 10-1 odds in the field of six. It was the 3-year-old filly's first win since Sept. 16, 2011, at Fairplex Park. She is trained by Bob Baffert, who also saddled runner-up Mamma Kimbo.

Mamma Kimbo returned $2.80 and $2.20 as the 7-10 favorite. Candy and Thunder was another three lengths back in third and paid $3.20 to show.

It was Baffert's second 1-2 finish on the card. He trained winner The Brain and runner-up Indian Gods in the sixth race.

Candrea has three wins in 10 career starts and earnings of $163,980.
