WWE legend Lawler breathing on own after scare
MONTREAL (AP) -- Professional wrestling commentator Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed at a World Wrestling Entertainment event at the Bell Centre on Monday night.
WWE.com says Lawler collapsed at the announcers' table and was taken from the arena to a hospital.
Broadcast partner Michael Cole addressed the television audience and said that the situation is "serious" but that Lawler is breathing on his own.
The 62-year-old Lawler mainly works on WWE broadcasts as a commentator but still occasionally wrestles.
