COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- U.S. National Road Race champion Timmy Duggan and Evgueni Petrov of Russia have signed with Denmark-based Team Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank.

The team says Duggan will join for one year and Petrov for two. The 30-year-old Dugan won this year's U.S. National Road Race Championships.

Team owner Bjarne Riis says the pair add "solid depth" to the team.

The Danish team also says Japanese rider Takashi Miyazawa had renewed his contract for another year.
