- PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - Charlie Wi takes a three-shot lead to Spyglass Hill in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Tiger Woods is six shots back at Pebble Beach, his best chance to make up ground in the third round.

- FRIBOURG, Switzerland - The U.S. doubles team of Mardy Fish and Mike Bryan sweeps Switzerland out of the Davis Cup, defeating Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka to seal the first-round series.

- COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Big Ten lead is at stake when No. 11 Michigan State comes to Value City Arena to take on No. 3 Ohio State. Game starts 6 p.m.

- COLUMBIA, Mo. - No. 4 Missouri faces No. 6 Baylor in a game with Big 12 title implications. Missouri won by a point last month at Baylor, its first victory over a top five opponent since 1994. Game starts 1:30 p.m.

- WACO, Texas - The No. 1 Baylor women, winners of 36 in a row at home, face No. 15 Texas A&M for the first time since the NCAA champion Aggies beat the Lady Bears in a regional final last March. Game starts 5 p.m.

- NEW YORK - The din surrounding Jeremy Lin grows only louder. After scoring 38 points and helping the Knicks beat the Lakers, this Harvard grad is inexplicably doing wondrous things.

- NEW YORK - Bernard Lagat, Jenny Simpson, Sanya Richards-Ross, Jesse Williams and LaShawn Merritt highlight the Millrose Games. The meet has left Madison Square Garden for an uptown armory. Featured events start 8 p.m.

- MELBOURNE, Australia - Jessica Korda of the U.S. leads by a one stroke after three rounds of the Women's Australian Open. She is the 18-year-old daughter of 1998 Australian Open tennis champion Petr Korda.

- DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Lee Westwood takes advantage of shaky play by Rory McIlroy and Thomas Bjorn for a one-stroke lead after three rounds of the Dubai Desert Classic.

- KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia - Emerging Swiss standout Beat Feuz celebrates his 25th birthday by winning the inaugural downhill on the course for the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Bode Miller finishes fourth.

- After big shifts during the offseason, with Albert Pujols and Prince Fielder migrating to the AL - baseball returns this weekend when the Mariners' pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Arizona.

- WASHINGTON - Forty years ago, the NFL missed a chance preserve an even more restrictive blackout. It rebuffed an effort by President Richard Nixon to lift the hometown blackout just for playoff games.

- ATLANTA - Earl Lloyd will be honored Sunday as part of Black History Month. He suited up for the Washington Capitols more than 60 years ago, the first black player in an NBA game.

- NEW YORK - There are 2,000 top dogs in town for Monday's start of the Westminster Kennel club show. Terriers, poodles and an affenpischer called Banana Joe are in the mix to become America's prized pooch.
