Russia, Lithuania earn Olympic basketball spots

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Jonas Maciulis scored 19 points and Lithuania qualified for its sixth straight Olympic basketball tournament, beating the Dominican Republic 109-83 on Saturday.

Russia also earned a trip to London, holding off Nigeria 85-77. The Dominican Republic and Nigeria will play Sunday for the final spot in London.

Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points for Lithuania.

Alexey Shved had 22 points and six assists for Russia.
