Windsurfing stays in Olympics over kiteboarding |

DUN LAOGHAIRE, Ireland (AP) - Windsurfing will stay in the Olympics for 2016 after the International Sailing Federation scrapped plans to replace it with kiteboard racing in Rio de Janeiro.
The ISAF Council voted in May to introduce kiteboarding in Brazil - a decision reaffirmed in a vote Friday.
But the decision was overruled by the ISAF general assembly, which voted Saturday in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland, in favor of reinstating windsurfing.
