CHESTER, Pa. (AP) -- Philadelphia native Chris Albright has signed with the Union.

The team said Monday it had added the three-time All-Star defender, who went to Penn Charter High School.

The 33-year-old has played for D.C. United, the Los Angeles Galaxy, the New England Revolution and the New York Red Bulls.

He has 22 appearances for the U.S. national team and was on the 2006 World Cup roster. He had two goals for the Americans at the 2000 Olympics.
