ROME (AP) -- Livorno teammates of Piermario Morosini and thousands of fans have paid tribute to the midfielder whose coffin circled Armando Picchi Stadium on Tuesday, three days after he collapsed during a match and died.

Morosini's teammates, wearing jerseys with his No. 25, stood on the field while the team song was played. S

The funeral is Thursday in Morosini's hometown, Bergamo.

An autopsy proved inconclusive after the 25-year-old player suffered cardiac arrest during a Serie B match at Pescara on Saturday.

Italy's soccer federation says a minute's silence will be held at all matches until Sunday.
