Clint Dempsey ruled out of Fulham's EPL finale

LONDON (AP) -- Clint Dempsey's season with Fulham is over after a groin injury ruled the American out of Sunday's Premier League finale at Tottenham.

Dempsey, who plays in midfield and up front, has scored a career-best 23 goals for Fulham this season.

The Texas native's last goal in Sunday's victory over Sunderland improved his career Premier League total to 50.
