VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Barry Robson has been suspended for one game for "aggravated dissent'' toward an official.

Major League Soccer announced the punishment Saturday after an exchange with an assistant referee in stoppage time during Wednesday's 2-0 home loss to FC Dallas.

The league also fined the Scottish player, who will miss Saturday's game at Seattle.

Robson called the game the most frustrating of his career because of the constant stops and starts as a result of fouls.

A total of 31 infractions were called - 24 on Vancouver and 17 on Dallas.

Nine players, six from Vancouver and three from Dallas, received yellow cards.
