Dynamo romp past FAS 3-1 in CONCACAF Champions League

SANTA ANA, El Salvador (AP) -- Brian Ching, Cam Weaver and Kofi Sarkodie all scored to lead Houston to a 3-1 victory over Salvador's FAS on Wednesday night in the Dynamo's opener in Group Three of the CONCACAF Champions League.

Ching gave Houston the lead in the 12th minute, banging in a bouncing header from a cross from Colin Clark. Weaver doubled the advantage in the 19th and Kofi Sarkodie, who set up Weaver's goal, made it 3-0 with a header in the 60th.

Jonathan Aguila scored in the 64th minute for FAS, which has lost both its matches to begin Group Three play.
