Man United defender Jones out for up to 8 weeks |

MANCHESTER, England (AP) -- Manchester United defender Phil Jones will be sidelined for up to two months after undergoing knee surgery.
The England international sustained the injury in training earlier this week.
United said on its website that Jones "had surgery on a knee meniscus tear sustained in training that will require 6 to 8 weeks' rehabilitation.''
He hasn't played for United yet this season after injuring his back in preseason.
