Aquilani out for 2 weeks with Achilles injury

FLORENCE, Italy (AP) -- Fiorentina says midfielder Alberto Aquilani will be out for two weeks with an Achilles injury.

Aquilani was expected to make his first start for Fiorentina against Catania this weekend,

However, Fiorentina says he visited a specialist in London on Monday and is expected to be sidelined for a further two weeks.

Aquilani, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan, has made two substitute appearances for Fiorentina since signing from Liverpool in the offseason.
